Piano music inspired by the magical experiments in the Key of Solomon.

The Key of Solomon – sometimes referred to as the Greater Key – is one of the classic grimoires of Western ceremonial magic. It has everything you'd want and expect from a book of magic: invocations, prayers, conjurations, curses, spells (called "experiments"), mystic seals, secret names, exactly which symbols you should engrave on your magic sword, and more.

This album explores the experiments: magic rituals for invisibility, tracking down thieves, creating a magic carpet to communicate with the spirits, and other activities of interest to the medieval magician. Each song is arranged into sections suggested by the text. May it please you in your search for the Quintessence, the Stone of the Wise, the Summum Bonum, True Wisdom, and Perfect Happiness.
